Batter
80 g oat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1½ tsp cinnamon
1 egg
100 ml almond milk
1 tsp vanilla flavouring
1-2 tbsp maple syrup
Topping
3 tbsp sugar substitutes
1 tsp cinnamon generous
Method
- Remove the core from the apple. Cut the apple into 4-6 rings.
- Mix all the batter ingredients (oat flour, egg, vanilla flavouring, baking powder, almond milk, a pinch of salt, 1 tl cinnamon). Add extra almond milk if the batter is too thick.
- Heat coconut oil or butter in the pan. Coat the apple rings in the batter and place them in the pan, or put a layer of batter in the pan, followed by a piece of apple and then another layer of batter.
- Fry the apple fritters on both sides.
- Mix the cinnamon with sugar substitute and dip the apple fritters in it.
